CAD/CAM Dentistry: The Present/The Future

CAD/CAM Dentistry: The Present/The Future
We will be discussing the different digital impressioning systems and the benefits of each. Also, we will discuss the different options the lab has to produce the restorations. The representatives of each digital impressioning system will be there to answer questions and discuss up and coming updates.

Biographies-

Dr Douglas Hoover
Dr Hoover graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1969 and then Ohio State College of Dentistry in 1973.He fellowshiped at the Academy of General Dentistry in 1982. He is a member of Keely,ODA, ADA, American Equilibration Society, and American Endodontic Society.He has been using the Itero system since 2007.





Dr Louis Vitangeli
After graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy College of Dentistry, Dr. Lou served in the US Navy Dental Corp in Little Creek, VA for the next two years. Returning to Ohio, he began his dental career in a group practice. After 8 years as part of a group, he then purchased a practice in Englewood where he continues to practice.
Dedicated to providing quality dentistry in a caring environment he has grown his practice and is now treating a third generation of family members. His patients often remark on his easy manner and gentle care. Over the course of his career, Dr. Lou continues to attend post graduate courses in restorative and cosmetic dentistry; recently becoming certified on Invisalign. He has been trained by some of the top dentists in the country.
He is a long-standing member of the Ohio Dental Association, Dayton Dental Society, and participates in the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Lou and his wife, Bonnie, have three grown children and he is proud of the fact that his son Dominic has joined him in his dental practice since 2003.

Brandon Smith
Brandon has worked for Dental Associates Lab for 3 years. He currently runs the Cerec, Cercon, Procera, Etkon, and 3Shape CAD systems. He also gives support to dentists and their staff on digital impressioning systems including Itero, Cerec, and Lava. He also works as the labs acting salesman.

Brandon Endres
Brandon Endres has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Kentucky and has over 10 years of diverse engineering, 3D modeling and rapid prototyping experience. Currently, Mr. Endres manages the SW Ohio, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky CAD/CAM business unit as the CEREC Specialist for Patterson Dental, and has led the SW Ohio/NKY/Dayton CEREC Study Club for the last three years. Brandon Endres is married to Dr. Eleanor Endres and together they have 2 children, Caroline 6yrs and Nathan 3yrs.

Jon Conrey
Jon joined Cadent in 2002 and has since been promoting CAD/CAM orthodontic solutions throughout parts of the mid-atlantic, mid-west and eastern Canadian regions. In January of 2010, his role expanded to include promoting the iTero digital impression system. Jon has developed partnerships with labs such as Dental Ceramics, distributors, implant manufactures, Invisalign and many happy customers to increase iTero’s market visibility. By conducting countless in office demonstrations and seminars he has become proficient at simplifying this paradigm shift in restorative dentistry.




MIke Seitz
Mike has spent the last year with 3M in Columbus promoting both Lava COS to dental health offices and lava materials and equipment to dental laboritories in his role as a Digital Oral Care Specialist. Prior to joing 3M, he was in territory sales with 2 of the major national dental products distributors. His experience selling three of the four digital impressioning systems provides him with the expertise to help understand the different systems and to make an informed decision about the system that is right for your practice.
